04 / TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT

Find the answer before the next build.

Work through a focused technical unknown before investing in a larger build. This can begin with a feasibility question, a stubborn failure, or a need to measure a system more clearly.

CAPABILITIES

Focused support for the details that matter.

Technical development targets a specific uncertainty and produces useful evidence for a decision. Work can combine review, a small proof of concept, troubleshooting, or a simple test setup; the method and limits are agreed before starting.

01

Feasibility & proof-of-concept work

Identify the key technical assumptions, constraints, and evidence needed to judge a proposed approach. A focused model, calculation, or prototype can be used where it helps answer the question.

02

Troubleshooting & test rigs

Break an observed failure or unknown behaviour into testable questions. Develop a practical setup or fixture to help observe, measure, and compare the relevant system behaviour.

03

BOMs & assembly documentation

Organize part references, quantities, material or component details, and assembly steps so a prototype or design is easier to review and reproduce. The documentation level is matched to the intended handoff.

04

Sourcing & manufacturing support

Compare practical component or fabrication options and prepare drawings or technical context for supplier discussion. Supplier selection, pricing, lead times, and production outcomes depend on external providers.

A GOOD FIT WHEN

  • A key design or system assumption needs a practical feasibility check.
  • A prototype behaves inconsistently and the cause is not yet clear.
  • You need a simple fixture or measurement approach to observe a component or process.

HELPFUL TO SHARE

  • A concise description of the decision or failure you need to resolve.
  • What has already been tried and any available measurements or logs.
  • Relevant drawings, parts, code, BOMs, and constraints such as time or budget.

A PRACTICAL APPROACH

Make progress one clear step at a time.

Start with the goal and the information you have. We’ll agree on the right scope before work begins.

01

Frame the question

Describe what is uncertain, what has already been tried, and what evidence would help decide the next step.

02

Set up a focused investigation

Plan a proof of concept, troubleshooting path, or test fixture that targets the question.

03

Record the outcome

Summarize the observations, constraints, and practical options that can guide the next decision.

POSSIBLE PROJECT OUTPUTS

Useful handoffs for the next stage.

Deliverables are selected and defined for each project. Depending on the agreed scope, they may include:

This service is scoped around a specific question or deliverable. It does not imply formal certification, production management, or guaranteed performance beyond what the agreed test can establish.
